Today saw 65 Year 6 students from Cornish College visit the Replas Environmental Centre – one of the largest plastic recycling centres in the southern hemisphere. The students have just started learning about recycling and with some projects coming up this was the perfect opportunity for them to learn more in a hands-on, interactive experience. The students and teachers found the tour very informative and matched their current leaning unit perfectly. Everyone enjoyed the excellent mix of images, displays and information and found the whole tour experience very engaging. Cornish College already have a bench seat and some decking at school made from recycled plastic, so the students were excited to learn where those products had come from.
