This week saw four Grade 3/4 classes from Hampton Park Primary School visit the Replas Environmental Centre over two days. The students had been learning about recycling at school so they were excited to visit the centre and learn more! As the students travelled through the tunnel experience they were able to ask questions and build on what they had learnt at school. The students were amazed to learn how long plastic lasts in the environment and how they can all make a difference by recycling their soft plastics. Their favourite part was exploring the showroom and seeing how many plastics are contained within the finished products that Replas produces. The student council are now interested in saving up to purchase some sustainable, recycled plastic seats for the school.
