The Students Sustainability Group from St Peter’s College visited the Replas Environmental Centre on August 1st. The students learnt new ways they could become part of the solution of making a greater difference by recycling soft plastics. The students previously believed the soft plastics could only be disposed of. They enjoyed seeing all of the materials and final products that could be made from soft plastic waste. They were aware that there were seats made from recycled plastics out the front of Coles and Woolworths stores, however, their school does not have any of these recycled products… yet!
