Today we had 66 students plus staff from Dromana College visit the Replas Environmental Centre with one thing on their minds… learning about recycling! We had a range of students from Year 7 to Year 12, tasked with the challenge of taking the recycling message back to the school to improve awareness around their current recycling initiatives. The students enjoyed the ideas and examples of ways they can increase the use of recycled plastic products. They participated in group activities, designed to get the students to think outside the square, as well as completing a tour through the tunnel. The school were then going to Frankston foreshore to see some of our products installed in the reserve behind the lifesaving club.
